RH BILL NA INIIPIT, BUHAY ANG KAPALIT!

The struggle to pass the reproductive health (RH) bill in the Philippines has been ongoing for over a decade.

And yet, anti-RH legislators in the HOR continue to obstruct the passage of HB 5043 into law. Instead of engaging in a meaningful and productive discussion on the merits and substance of the bill, oppositors resort to delaying tactics that undermine the process.

Meanwhile, eleven Filipino women die daily due to pregnancy and childbirth complications; three out of four of these women are aged 15 – 19 years old . Everyday, about two individuals are reported to have been infected with HIV.

How many more lives do we need to sacrifice before the RH bill is passed?
