Convenors of the Conference The convenors of Global Filipino Nation, an unincorporated association of leading organizations and leaders onshore and offshore, including those in academe, think tanks, peasant groups, labor, media, grassroots organizers, business, banking and investments, consulting, OFW/migrant rights advocacy, youth, indigenous peoples, foundations and law. Among the leading organizations, which are convenors or whose leaders are convenors, are: Global Filipinos Coalition, a major organization of overseas Filipino organizations and leaders; the National Federation of Filipino and American Associations, the umbrella organization of Filipino-American groups and leaders; the Filipino Migrant Workers Group, an organization of Filipino contract workers; Economic Resource Center for Overseas Filipinos, a non-profit entity carrying out initiatives for overseas Filipinos and their families; UGAT Foundation, a center for Filipino advocacy issues; Center for Strategic Studies, a think tank group at Loyola Heights, Q.C.; OFW Congress, a major organization of OFWs in Saudi Arabia; Kasapi Congress; Overseas Filipino Caucus for Development, a European-based group of overseas Filipino organizations; and Institute of Migration Studies, Miriam College.
Target onsite registrants
5,000 overseas Filipino leaders, members of their families, their friends onshore who share the same governance vision, collaborative global business partners and investors, grassroots entrepreneurs, new nationwide potential political leaders (This is the largest assembly of overseas Filipinos ever organized.) Additionally, more than 10,000 are expected to attend a job and trade fair.

Goal
Effective governance in the Homeland, anchored on grassroots economic empowerment and resolution of issues facing migrant workers and their families, and with raised consciousness of a nation ready to march as one

Social Module Program and mechanism to redress prioritized urgent issues facing migrant workers, whose families account for more than half of all Filipinos
Political Module Mobilize overseas Filipinos for a strategic role in the Global Filipino Nation's struggle in nation-building and effective governance for the welfare of all Filipinos in the homeland and around the world
“Innovation and tech collaboration” • Insights into U.S./global opportunities for wealth creation and enlarging Philippine skills reservoir

Expected outcomes
1. Consensus on logical frameworks (logframes) as basis for implementation of agreed initiatives
2. Legal personality, governance principles and organizational structure of Global Filipino Nation
Significance and distinction of conference
1. In contrast to conventional conferences, this International Conference will not feature speeches.
2. The focus is on concrete, realistic and high-impact action programs.

Entertainment
There will be a major entertainment extravaganza (to be determined).
Golf Tournament There will be an optional golf tournament for those who wish to enjoy the fellowship and game.
