Kanlungan Centre Foundation will hold a two-day thematic workshop on Development Legal Advocacy (DLA) on June 26-27 2008 at Ciudad Christia San Mateo Rizal.
The said workshop is a joint undertaking of Kanlungan and ILO under the collaborative project entitled "Socio-Economic Re-integration of Returned Trafficked Women and Children through Integrated Case Management Approach". It aims to: 1) enhance the knowledge and skills among service providers and stakeholders in addressing legal cases of trafficked women, and 2) identify other legal remedies and interventions that can be applied in addressing cases of violence against women (VAW) and its attendant issues, particularly the re-integration of trafficked women.
