The Commission on Human Rights (CHR) of the Philippines, in partnership with Business for Integrity and Stability of Our Nation (or BISYON2020) and Transparency International Philippines, under the auspices of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), cordially invites you to the First Integrity and Human Rights Conference on January 27-28, 2009 at the Hyatt Hotel, Malate, Manila.
This conference aims to raise awareness on integrated and global compliance on integrity programmes and human rights promotion and protection. It will also examine current issues, share best practices and tools, and build networks and partnerships for action. This gathering of the country’s stakeholders involved in Integrity Practices in business, public service and civil society, in corporate governance and safeguarding human rights will create the value of ethical leadership and human-rights-based vision towards sustainable enterprises and communities.
Participants composed of general and corporate counsels, compliance and ethics officers, finance and internal audit directors, corporate governance and legal compliance directors, heads of local and national government units and agencies and non-government organizations (NGO) /civil society organizations (CSO) are expected to attend.
