The Social Weather Stations (SWS) February 2009 Special Survey in Paranaque City shows that majority of the people from the city favor reproductive health and family planning. 86% say that the government of Paranaque should have a policy on reproductive health and family planning while 87% of the people from Paranaque agree that government should provide free supplies or service to the poor who wish to use any family planning method. Almost all (94%) also agree that the city health centers should improve its services.
The survey also shows that 8 out of 10 men and women of reproductive age in Paranaque City favor the RH Bill. Support for the bill is seen across all the Districts and social classes in the city. Support for the Bill is also seen regardless of sex, civil status, age and religion of respondents.
