In a statement, the DFA said the family got the confirmation from the in-flight manager of Yemenia Airways.

“The Philippine embassy in Riyadh also verified initial reports and learned that Ms. Jana Garcia Tamah and her husband, Mr. Khalid Tamah, are co-workers of Ms. Libron. They also confirmed that Ms. Libron was on the Yemeni flight. Ms. Libron is 26 yrs old and single,” the DFA said.

Lucia Libron also told the DFA that Yemenia has not contacted the family and is thus seeking assistance from the DFA.

“The DFA is making representations with Yemenia on behalf of the family of Ms. Libron," the department said.
