PostSubject: The Philippines Against Child Trafficking (PACT)   The Philippines Against Child Trafficking (PACT) EmptyThu Jul 09, 2009 3:47 pm

The Philippines Against Child Trafficking (PACT) is a national network of multi-sectoral advocates committed to end child trafficking through coordinating the efforts of its partners in the prevention, protection, prosecution, and reintegration of child trafficking victims and survivors all over the Philippines. PACT’s network of child rights advocates is composed of LGU officials, GOs, NGOs, POs, faith-based organizations, law enforcers, teachers, social workers, community leaders, and media among others.

In pursuit of our anti-trafficking goals and in order to provide effective support to different service providers of trafficked children in the National Capital Region, the PACT NCR is going to conduct the “Care and Protection of Service Providers: A Consultation Meeting of Service Providers with Prospective Support Group Members” on July 23, 2009 from 8:00 o’clock in the morning to 5:00 o’clock in the afternoon at Fersal Place Hotel, Malakas St., Diliman, Quezon City. The Consultation aims to discuss the psycho-social and legal concerns of service providers, identify gaps and formulate recommendations to improve their situation. It also aims to get the commitment of agency officials and professional groups who can help in addressing the above-mentioned concerns.

In this connection, we would like to invite you to participate in the said activity. Please see the attached program for the activity.

Should you have further inquiries on the activity, please get in touch with our PACT National Secretariat through our landline at telephone number 02 929 0347 or at my mobile phone no. 09273611579 (Globe) or Czarina Mendoza through landline 02 428 3520 or through email at czarina_elmo@yahoo.com, my email address at fjgad@yahoo.com or PACT’s email address at philippinecampaign@gmail.com.

We have also attached a reply form for your confirmation.

Hoping for your positive response to our invitation and your continued support in the work to eliminate child-trafficking in the Philippines

Sincerely,

Romeo M. Datuin
Convenor, PACT-NCR
