Share Filipino travelers who land in New Zealand en route to other destinations will no longer be required to secure transit visas starting November 30.
To be exempt from the transit visa, Filipinos need to remain in the airport and their travel bookings show a stopover of no more than 24 hours, the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs said on Friday.
"If they plan to stop over for more than 24 hours, or plan to leave the airport, they must apply for a visitor visa," the DFA said.
