The Saudi police arrested a 27-year-old Filipina nurse who was accused of deliberately damaging the virginity of a young patient who figured in a traffic accident.
The news site Emirates 24/7 said the mother claimed that she saw the nurse, wearing gloves, inserting her hand into the genitals of her daughter who had a physical disability.
However, the nurse denied that she deliberately ruptured the girl's virginity and claimed that she was only cleaning the patient's body.
Citing a report of Okaz Daily, Emirates 24/7 said the incident happened at a hospital in the western Red Sea port of Jeddah.
Okaz Daily said the prosecutor in the case is demanding the maximum punishment against the nurse and is also seeking her deportation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. - VVP, GMA News
