A Filipina helper who met her Pakistani lover in the United Arab Emirates through Facebook faced a UAE court on Thursday for having consensual sex at the villa of the Filipina's sponsor, the news site Gulf News reported.
The prosecutors charged the two with having sex outside marriage while the Pakistani faced additional charges of trespassing into the villa.
“We chatted for two weeks on Facebook and fell in love. She provided me with her contact number… I called her and then she helped me sneak into her sponsor’s villa, where we had sex,” the 23-year-old Pakistani said in the Gulf News report.
The Filipina, on the other hand, told the court, “Yes sir, I had consensual sex with (the Pakistani) but I didn’t aid him to trespass into my sponsor’s villa.”
According to court records, the villa's cook saw the Pakistani sneaking out of the 27-year-old Filipina's bedroom at about 3:15 a.m.
The cook briefly fought with the Pakistani, who scaled the villa's wall and escaped.
However, the Pakistani's passport fell off his pocket, giving the police the chance to trace him.
When confronted, the Filipina admitted to her Emirati sponsor that she invited the Pakistani over after the sponsor and his family went to bed.
The report said another Filipina housemaid, 31, was also accused of aiding and abetting the Pakistani to trespass into the villa. - VVP, GMA News
