Accused of raping a Filipina maid in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a Jordanian claimed that he had no need for other women because he has a beautiful wife, a report of the news site The National said on Wednesday.
Fayza Moussa, the lawyer of the accused, said the incident sounds impossible because the Jordanian was reportedly suffering from diabetes "and he is sexually weak; rape requires the lower part of the penis to be strong."
The National said the lawyer claimed that the maid only brought up rape charges because the wife had admonished her.
Forensics reports, however, showed traces of semen on the defendant's clothes.
However, the report said the accused had watched a pornographic film and ejaculated.
The Filipina maid had accused the Jordanian of raping her while his wife was at work and his 13-year-old son was playing computer games in his room.
The report quoted the lawyer as saying, "Why would he commit rape while his son is in the house?"
The lawyer also said if the Filipina had been raped, "there would have been some marks at least from his fingers on her body." - VVP, GMA News
