PAHRA and BALAY Rehabilitation Center invite you to an afternoon sharing on the Philippine human rights situation with the partner from Zurich, Switzerland. This sharing follows a brief meeting with select members of the Alliance that focuses on ESCR, gender, children and environment.
BALAY’s partner HEKS or the Swiss Inter-Church Aid is interested to meet human rights organizations in the Philippines that have a mandate and is working on the economic, socio-cultural rights, women, children and the environment. HEKS is a Zurich-based Church donor agency that focuses on food security, human rights and peace. It has a Coordination office here in the Philippines based in Quezon City.
The meeting will take place on February 1, 2008, 3-5pm at Ledesma Room, Philippine Partnership Center, 59 C. Salvador Street, Loyola Heights, Quezon City.
The two-hour meeting will be a simple exchange between PAHRA members and HEKS on the human rights situation in the Philippines. It is also an opportunity for PAHRA members to share about their organization, their mandate and projects.
