Philippine Embassy officials processed at least 65 electronic passport (e-passport) applications from Filipinos based there during a consular outreach program in Jamaica from July 12 to 15.

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said the consular outreach team led by Chargé d' Affaires Wilfredo Maximo coordinated with the Philippine Honorary Consulate in Kingston under Honorary Consul Everoy Hugo Chin.

"Scores of overseas Filipino workers in Jamaica took the opportunity to apply for new ePassports. A total of 65 ePassport applications were received by the Embassy," the DFA said in a news release. - VVP, GMA News
