*Optional: There was a suggestion to create an effigy of a trafficker and burn it as part of the activities (this has been done in Cavite). Considering the time frame, what is the feasibility of this? Or could KAKAMMPI suggest alternative programs that will still feature the HRS?
Objectives:
1. To announce the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking’s (IACAT) formal adoption of the Philippine Human Rights Standards for the Protection of Trafficked Children (PACT will verify this on February 21, 2008)
2. To promote and popularize use of the Human Rights Guidelines to the media
3. To showcase PACT programs to address trafficking, particularly December 12 activities as spearheaded by KAKAMMPI
