Forum on Free Trade Agreements and their impact on
Decent Work of Filipino Workers: “The Current State of WTO-NAMA negotiation”


12 May 2008, 10:00 AM -3:00 PM, Old Suisse Inn, Makati City

The Formal Labour and Migrant Workers Council of the National Anti-Poverty Commission (FLMW-NAPC), in collaboration with the American Centre for International Solidarity (ACILS) and the Asian Labour Network - Philippines (ALNI-Philippines) will hold the abovementioned activity on 12 May 2008 at the Old Suisse Inn, Makati City from 10:00 AM TO 3:00 pm.

The activity aims to provide member Council and other participants with salient information and update regarding the state of play of negotiations at the World Trade Organization, particularly on the DOHA Round and Non-Agricultural Market Access (NAMA). Furthermore, the activity hopes to aid the FLMW-NAPC come up with a statement on the on-going negotiations.
