This January, we are happy to have with us Dr. Catherine Cansino, an OB-Gyne Family Planning fellow of Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. She is doing a research on the clinical practices of health care professionals in providing PMAC services to women in the Philippines.
We also have Ms. Stephanie Swanson, a 3rd year law student from Harvard Law School, doing research with Harvard Human Rights Program and the Center for Reproductive Rights regarding postabortion care
in the Philippines. They will visit NGOs, GOs, and hospital facilities for interviews.
We are taking the opportunity of their presence to have a sharing on the current Reproductive Health-Reproductive Rights situation in the US. Hopefully our discussion with them can bring fresh insights into our own RH-RR Advocacy in the Philippines.
The sharing will be on January 18, Friday, 2:00-5:00 pm at Fersal Place Hotel, #131 Malakas St.,Diliman, Quezon City. Dinner and socials will follow.
